Robotics Intern (Internship)

Zurich, Switzerland | on-site | 6 months | flexible start in 2025

We are looking for a motivated Robotics Intern to join our team and support the development and deployment of our robotic systems for confined and complex environments.
You’ll be part of our young team, supporting development, testing, and field trials. Your work will depend on your background – whether software, electronics, or mechanical – and you’ll get hands-on experience across disciplines. If you’re excited to work on meaningful robotics challenges and contribute from day one, we’d love to meet you!

As an ideal candidate, you will be highly motivated, eager to work on a challenging deep-tech topic with real-world impact, capable of working autonomously and in small teams, and have a strong desire to build and deploy functional robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support robotics development in software, hardware, or electronics.
  • Assist with prototyping, testing, and integration tasks.
  • Contribute to robot assembly and small-scale production.
  • Join customer deployments and field operations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and improve the system.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong motivation and hands-on mindset.
  • Studying Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Currently pursuing a degree (or graduated within the last six months) at a Swiss University.
  • Interest in robotics and deep-tech projects.
  • Experience in one or more areas: ROS, Python/C++, CAD, PCB design, Linux, testing.
  • Fluent English speaker.

Great to have

  • Experience with soldering, fieldwork, or mechanical assembly.
  • Experience in student robotics teams or similar projects.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, and sensor integration.

What we offer

  • Direct collaboration with the founders and the chance to actively shape our product and company.
  • Chance to transition into a full-time role after the internship and to grow into a core role in an early-stage robotics startup.
  • Exposure to real-world deployments and pilot customers.
  • A team culture focused on technical excellence, openness, and shared ownership.
  • Regular joint team activities including team dinners and surprise events.
