(Senior) Product Engineer (Full-time)

Zurich, Switzerland | on-site | starting  ~July 2025

We are looking for a (Senior) Product Engineer to join our team and actively contribute to bringing our robotics technology from prototype to product.
We’re a young and dynamic team, and your role will be broad and impactful – from design for manufacturing and certification to helping set up the supply chain and scaling production. You’ll work side by side with the founding team to shape our technology, company, and culture.

As an ideal candidate, you will be highly motivated, eager to work on a challenging deep-tech topic with real-world impact, capable of working autonomously and in small teams, and have a strong desire to create robust and scalable hardware systems.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize our robotic products for manufacturability, robustness, and cost with a focus on hardware and electronics.
  • Create and manage documentation for production and certification.
  • Support sourcing, supplier interaction, and scale-up of production.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and integration teams.
  • Help transition our robots from prototypes into scalable products.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong motivation and goal-oriented working attitude.
  • Comfortable working independently and in small teams, and willing to take responsibility.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in hardware or product engineering.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with CAD, system integration, and product documentation.
  • Fluent English speaker; German is a plus.

Great to have

  • Experience with certification processes and supplier coordination.
  • Familiarity with production planning or industrialization.
  • Background in robotics, automation, or high-performance hardware.
  • Interest in designing reliable systems for challenging environments.
